If you, your family, or someone you care about is in need of food, we are honored to serve you.
You may come directly to the Avadhutashram during our service hours. No prior registration is required.

We are located on Route 31, which is also known as County Route 31 (CR 31) and, in some GPS systems, as Heart Content Road. These are the same road — Route 31 is a continuation of Heart Content Road.

If you are coming from Heart Content Road, please continue driving past the Round Top Fire House. Even if you notice the house numbers change, don’t worry — you are still on the correct road.

Continue up the road past the camp. If you see a line of cars, simply join the line. If there is no line, look for the Ashram sign on your left.

WHAT TO EXPECT?

We operate through a drive-through system. When you arrive, you will be directed to join the car line. Wait times vary depending on the day, and we appreciate your patience. Our volunteers and coordinators will guide you every step of the way.

WHAT WILL I RECEIVE?

Each household receives at least one box of groceries (and more, depending on household size). Boxes include fresh fruits and vegetables, grains, protein, dairy products, and other nutritious food items.

DO I NEED TO LIVE IN CAIRO IN ORDER TO RECEIVE FOOD?

No. We serve anyone in need, regardless of where they live.

DO I NEED TO BRING  DOCUMENTS TO REGISTER?

No documents are required. We do not ask for ID or proof of residence. You will simply be asked to provide some basic information.

CAN I PICK UP FOR MY NEIGBORS OR FRIENDS?

Yes, you may pick up food for neighbors or friends. You will need to provide their names and basic information at registration.

I DO NOT HAVE A CAR. DO YOU DELIVER?

At this time, we are not able to offer regular delivery services. If possible, please ask a friend, neighbor, or family member to pick up food for you.

If you have no way to arrange pickup, please contact us. We will do our best to help.

I AM DISABLED AND CAN’T CARRY THE FOOD TO MY CAR.

No problem. Our volunteers will gladly place the boxes directly into your vehicle if you are unable to carry them yourself.
